Dear Mr. Pipoyan:

This letter is to certify that Mr. Henrik Pipoyan has completed a training program in Agricultural Extension Administration in the United States, under the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Cochran Fellowship Program.  The period of the training was from March 25, 1993 to April 22, 1993.

During his stay in the United States, Mr. Pipoyan held discussions at USDA offices in Washington, D.C., on the role of USDA in agricultural extension and education.  He also spent time at four U.S. universities -- Oklahoma State University (Stillwater, Oklahoma), Utah State University (Logan, Utah), the University of Kentucky (Lexington, Kentucky), and Virginia Polytechnical Institute  (Blacksburg, Virginia) -- discussing the role of the U.S. university system in the areas of agricultural research, education, extension and youth development.

We greatly appreciated the opportunity to host Mr. Pipoyan and look forward to future collaboration with Armenia on the Cochran Fellowship Program.

Sincerely,

Garry Lading
